Media API

ENDPOINT: GET /v1/patients/{userId}/media/{mediaId}

The Media endpoint allows partners to pull images from the RxWare database.

These images may include, but are not limited to:

  • Images of consent forms with valid signatures
  • Images of pharmacy or insurance cards
  • Images of insurance denial or other letters, as specified for each user journey.

Example: Get Patient’s Media

To get a media file related to a specific patient from RxWare, the id of the media file that is related to this patient is required.

The id is provided in the response object of the enrollment API request fields:

  • insurance.primaryInsurance.frontPictureImage
  • insurance.primaryInsurance.backPictureImage
  • insurance.secondaryInsurance.frontPictureImage
  • insurance.secondaryInsurance.backPictureImage
  • signature.image

Supported extensions and their content-types in the response object:

  • .jpg .jpeg – image/jpeg
  • .gif – image/gif
  • .png – image/png
  • .pdf – application/pdf
